Joining the NewWorks Incubator Program is the best way to introduce your work to AATC.

Playwrights

The Application Process for Playwrights is from October 15 to December 15 each year.

Please email a copy of your manuscript(s) to playsubmission@asianamericantheater.org and include:

(1) a cover page with your name and contact information (email address, mailing address, and telephone number);
(2) a cover letter that includes a one-paragraph synopsis of the play, followed by a one-paragraph description of what inspired you to write it;
(3) a separate page that includes a two- to three-sentence description of each character in your play; and
(4) a writer’s resume, if available.

Your application will be reviewed by a Selection Committee and you will receive an answer by January.
